How long is the Monsieur Cuisine warranty and how do you file a complaint?
Author: AMT Serwis
The warranty on a Monsieur Cuisine — the so-called Lidlomix — runs for 2 or 3 years, depending on the model and the offer you bought it in. That is only the start of the answer, because whether a repair is free comes down to the cause of the fault and the route you take, not to the calendar alone.

As an out-of-warranty Monsieur Cuisine repair workshop we take calls every day from people who are not sure whether their machine is still covered, or what they are actually entitled to. Below are the answers to the questions that come up most often.
One thing up front: if your appliance is under warranty and the fault falls within its scope, start with the warranty route. The repair will be free, and there is no reason for you to pay us or anyone else.
How long is the Monsieur Cuisine warranty?
The warranty on a Monsieur Cuisine runs for 2 or 3 years from the date of purchase — the period depends on the model and on the offer the appliance was sold in. What counts is the date on the receipt or invoice, not when you first switched the machine on.
Since the period varies, do not guess it — check your own. Two things are worth having to hand before you report anything:
- proof of purchase — without a receipt or invoice the warranty route usually ends before it begins;
- the warranty card supplied with the appliance — that is where you will find your warranty period, its scope, the exclusions, and the workshop your claim should go to.
On this question the warranty card matters more than any article on the internet, this one included. The general rules are described below, but it is the wording of your card that settles a dispute.
If the receipt disappeared long ago, check your card payment history or the shop's app — increasingly that is accepted as proof of purchase.
Warranty versus statutory complaint — two different routes
This distinction confuses more people than any other, and it decides who you should approach.
A warranty is a voluntary undertaking by the guarantor — the manufacturer or the seller. Nobody is obliged to give one, but if they do, they set the rules themselves in the warranty card: how long it lasts, what it covers, and which workshop carries out the repairs.
A complaint based on the goods not conforming to the contract is a statutory right that belongs to a consumer regardless of whether a warranty exists at all. You direct it to the seller, not to the manufacturer. In Poland, since 2023 this route has replaced the former implied-warranty regime in consumer sales. The seller's liability covers, as a rule, 2 years from delivery of the goods, and during that time there is a presumption that the defect already existed at the time of purchase — it is for the seller to show otherwise.
The two routes run in parallel and you choose which one to use. If the guarantor refuses, the complaint route with the seller is still open — and the other way round.
Treat the above as orientation rather than legal advice. Consumer law is amended from time to time, and the details depend on the circumstances of the purchase.
What the Monsieur Cuisine warranty covers, and what it does not
The scope varies with the warranty card, but the dividing line is usually the same.
A warranty usually covers defects that arose without any involvement on your part — manufacturing faults, material defects, and component failures under normal use, for example in the electronics or the motor.
A warranty usually does not cover:
- mechanical damage — drops, impacts, a cracked housing;
- the effects of flooding and moisture reaching the electronics;
- parts that wear during normal operation: blades, seals, the drive coupling;
- limescale deposits and the results of use contrary to the manual;
- the consequences of earlier repairs carried out outside the workshop named in the card.
That last point matters in practice: opening the appliance yourself, or having it repaired by a random technician while the warranty is running, usually voids it. If you still have a warranty, it is not worth the risk.
A good share of the faults that reach us start in everyday use — most often in how the bowl is washed. We cover that separately in our guide on caring for the Monsieur Cuisine bowl.
How to file a Monsieur Cuisine complaint, step by step
- Get your proof of purchase ready. A receipt, an invoice, or a payment confirmation.
- Describe the symptom, not the diagnosis. "It stirs but does not heat" is more useful to a workshop than "I think the heating element has gone". Say when the problem started and whether it happens every time or only sometimes.
- Check the warranty card for where the claim should go. Under a warranty it will be the workshop named by the guarantor; for a statutory complaint, the seller you bought the appliance from.
- Protect the machine for transport. Remove the bowl and accessories, and pack the body so it cannot move inside the box.
- Keep confirmation of the claim. For a complaint to a seller, the accepted position is that they should respond within 14 days — without confirmation there is little you can enforce.
Monsieur Cuisine complaint rejected — what next?
The most common grounds for refusal are mechanical damage, signs of flooding, wear on a consumable part, or an expired warranty period. In practice, a refusal means one thing: the repair is possible, but chargeable.
This is a moment to stay calm, because "chargeable" is not the same as "not worth it". On the Monsieur Cuisine, most typical faults — replacing the heating element, the drive coupling or the seals, or repairing the electronics — cost a fraction of the price of a new machine.
After a rejected complaint you are free to have the repair done by any workshop. With us the quote is free, so you learn the cost before you decide, and you lose nothing if you ultimately walk away.
The warranty has ended — where can I get a Monsieur Cuisine repaired?
Once the period on your warranty card is up the appliance is out of warranty, but it usually has years of work ahead of it. We carry out out-of-warranty Monsieur Cuisine repairs at our workshop in Wrocław, at ul. Pułaskiego 42F, and we take in machines from outside the city by courier or parcel locker.
The pattern is simple: you book the repair online, get the appliance to us, we diagnose the fault and give you the cost. Only then do you decide whether we go ahead.
Summary
The Monsieur Cuisine warranty runs for 2 or 3 years from the date of purchase — you will find your own period on the warranty card. Whether the repair is free, though, comes down to the cause of the fault rather than the calendar. Mechanical damage, flooding and worn consumable parts normally fall outside the warranty, and then a chargeable repair is what remains.
Still under warranty with a fault that falls within it? Use it — that is the cheapest option. Warranty expired, or complaint rejected? Get in touch — we will examine the fault and quote the repair free of charge, before we do anything.
